USA Hockey’s primary emphasis is on the support and development of grassroots hockey programs. Its cutting-edge American Development Model, which was launched in January 2009, provides associations nationwide with a blueprint for age-appropriate athlete development. Always a leader in safety, USA Hockey furthered the enhancement of those efforts by advancing the USA Hockey Safe Sport Program in June 2012.

An affiliate of USA Hockey, this is the governing body of youth and amateur hockey in Minnesota and the premier developer of hockey players in the state.

Minnesota Hockey District 8 Serves the SE metro area of the Twin Cities. This is the official website of the District and contains all of the contacts, rules, schedules and information for it's participants.

RWAHA plays within District 8 of Minnesota Hockey.

RWAHA adheres to the waiver policy set forth by District 8 of MN Hockey as a part of MN Hockey and USA Hockey.
